India is home to the biggest wild tiger population in the world. Although numbers have grown in the recent past, our national animal continues to face numerous threats. These include habitat degradation and loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. Since the inaugural Global Tiger Day in 2010, the conversation around tigers has evolved and gained momentum.
